This is a blog for LabEx a program for students that need to have a regular science laboratory experience during their high school years. We have created and run this program for a number of years for the most part because as science professors we were seeing bright, capable students coming into our introductory biology and chemistry course from homeschooled and christian schooled backgrounds that had never had any experience in a science laboratory. This lack of experience showed itself in high anxiety and awkwardness in these students and we created this program to address the issue as best we can.
LabEx is a program supported by the Science faculty at our University and is subsidized by the University so that the cost to the students (and their parents) is kept at a minimum.If you have any questions please feel free to ask them in the comments section of this blog.

Each year the Science Faculty at Crandall University hosts a week of laboratories for students from homeschooled or Christian schooled environments. Our intention is that the students get both a "hands-on" experience in the lab that they might have missed otherwise and that they appreciate the truth revealed in Creation.
